Finally, a bag to carry those long 40 round magazines used by RPK gunners and AK shooters alike. Made of 1000D nylon this durable shoulder sack organizes 6 magazines in individual compartments. Based on the Russian 4 mag belt pouch, we've upped the capacity to 6 magazines and lengthened the pouches specifically for the 40 rounders. As you can see from the pictures the dividers are set low so you can also store 30 rounders and easily retrieve them.
The quick release adjustable shoulder strap is a comfortable 1 1/2 inches wide and a generous 50 inches long. The cover protects the magazines from dirt and mud and secures with it's own adjustable buckles. Three grommets provide drainage if ever needed.
The backside features a weather resistant zippered pouch for holding essential items. The sides have MOLLE webbing to attach your extra kit and pouches.
Keep your long magazines handy and your weapon well fed with the Strike Hard Gear RPK Gunner's shoulder bag.
Note- Due to the higher cost of Multicam camoflage, $5.00 will be added at checkout.

The materials and the construction are top notch. The stitching isn't perfect, but it is good and very solid - better on all counts than the China gear and the Warsaw pact surplus.
My only real complaint is that the shoulder straps are stitched on at an angle, so if you ware the bag with the buckles on the outside, the straps pull the material closed at the mouth of the bag. I doubt this would be a problem with the longer 40 round RPK mags, but if you want to use this bag with 30 round AK mags like i did, be aware that the bag won't lay open when it's slung on your side.
The bag will lay open if you ware it with the map pocket facing out, but then you can't get to the buckles.
I don't want to give the impression the bag doesn't work with 30 round mags, because it does. Because they are shorter than the bag, and because of the way the straps are sewn on, you will sometimes find yourself fishing around in the bag for a magazine. Again, i don't think that would be an issue with 40rnd RPK mags but i don't have any to test.
Looks like i need to buy some new mags.

This is a great value for the price. Finally found something that can replace my old yugo and soviet surplus ammo bags. Shipping was fast as well. Also glad to support a US manufacturer.

Great quality and customer service! Ordered this as well as 10-22 mag pouches through Strike Hard Gear. Was sent new version on this shoulder bag at no extra charge. Nice to support company actually making their stuff in the US and they do not gouge customers on shipping. Prompt delivery as well!

For those that want to carry 40-round AK mags easily, this is a good option. Thicker material would have gotten it 5 stars, but then I am sure the price would have to have been higher. Anyway, a great grab and go bag for larger AK mags. I have mine near the AK and am pleased with it.

I ordered an SKS Duckbill Mag Shoulder Bag from StrikeHard. At the time Todd did not have one on his website. He told me to order an AK Shoulder bag and he would take care of the rest. And he was true to his word. He made it accommodate the Duckbill Mags. And I got my Shoulder Bag much quicker than I thought that I would. Todd was very professional thru-out the process. Love my product and I will be going thru StrikeHard for all of my pouches, bags, and chest rigs without a doubt.

I like this bag very much. I now own three of them. Construction seems good. It is definitely sturdier than the old surplus stuff and the price is not bad. I use one of the bags to carry AR 7.62x39mm 30 round mags. I have bought again and again.
